Pilates

Pilates is a body conditioning system developed by Joseph Pilates over 80 years ago. Pilates training is comprised of mat-based exercises as well as specialized machines that teach optimal core function to correct postural imbalances, increase flexibility, improve breathing, increase abdominal strength, and stabilize the torso. By encouraging a more acute body-mind connection, Pilates works deep, intrinsic supporting muscles. This results in improved alignment and movement efficiency.
